Choose from our executive-class 2 or 3-bedroom Villas (with entertainment kitchens) or our stylish Mini Villas (couples cottages). All units have direct beach access, ocean views, sundecks, Wi-Fi and Level 2 EV charging outlets.
Perfect for family vacations, small group retreats and romantic getaways, Colindale Beach Villas is an ideal base to explore everything Cape Breton has to offer — including the Cabot Trail, Cabot Cliffs, Celtic music and local festivals like Celtic Colours and KitchenFest.
Our booking calendar for 2026 is now open. For March -June, 3-bedroom Villas rates are $289-$379/night (based on 4 guests) while Mini Villas are $199-$259/night. For July and August, 3-bedroom Villas are $449-479 /night (based on 4 guests) while Mini Villas are $249-$309. A cleaning fee and taxes are extra.
Colindale Beach Villas is located a scenic half-hour drive from Cabot Cliffs and 10 minutes from the restaurants, shops, beaches, trails and other attractions in Port Hood and Mabou.
All units hav Level 2 EV charging outlets — one of the few vacation rentals in Nova Scotia to offer this (See Amenities section for detail).

House Policies: (i) We are unable to host children under the age of 8 or any pets; (ii) a 3-bedroom villa may be shared by two couples, but sharing by 5 or 6 adults is not permitted without manager approval; (iii) House Rules include no parties, no smoking, no fires, no drones, no ATVs and no cooking fish or strong odor foods indoors. Quiet hours are from 10 pm onwards.
Our Villas
Unwind in one of our luxurious Cape Breton vacation rentals! Each of our modern 3-bedroom Villas has an open-concept living area, ocean or nature views from every room, 9-foot ceilings and is flooded with natural light. All villas are decorated with a beach theme and packed full of modern amenities including a fully-equipped open-concept kitchen (with island, bar stools, and stainless steel appliances), satellite TV, air conditioning, a laundry center, two bathrooms and a 50 amp electric outlet to support Level 2 EV charging. The spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a private bathroom, and a walk-in closet while the other two bedrooms have Queen-sized beds. All bedrooms have blinds, screened windows and beds with pillow-top mattresses and comfortable linens.
Outside, you'll take in captivating ocean views and stunning Cape Breton sunsets from the giant wooden sundeck while enjoying a glass of wine or a delicious meal in the fresh air. The sundeck has a BBQ, an outdoor dining table and chairs.
Each vacation home sits on a peaceful, 2-acres with direct access to picturesque Colindale Beach -- a hidden gem located on our property via our nature trail.
Come spoil yourself with our ultra-comfortable accommodation in a unique tranquil coastal setting.

The Beautiful Beach
For those interested in taking in some near-magical scenery, picturesque and secluded Colindale Beach is a leisurely walk down our nature trail which meanders through a field of giant wildflowers and winds alongside a sparkling freshwater pond and emerald green sand dunes. This peaceful beach features acres and acres of sand, wind-sculpted sand dunes and warm swimming waters which often reach 21 degrees Celcius (70 degrees Fahrenheit) in the summer.
Relax in in one of our beach chairs and listen to the sound of the waves crash on the shore while breathing in the fresh ocean air. Colindale Beach is a great place for swimming, beach meditation, yoga beachcombing, beach volleyball, morning beach walks and, of course, photography -- especially in the early evening when the western sun illuminates the deep blue sea, the waves, the beach, and the dunes. The lighting in the evening is almost magical. And, the sunsets here are world-class.
Blessed with natural beauty and positive energy, its no wonder that Colindale Beach has become a popular place for marriage proposals and engagements. And, for those interested in sea glass, Colindale Beach has lots of it.

Each unit has a 240 Volt, 50 amp 10KW/hour receptacle for Level 2 EV charging. Guests should bring their own charging cable and adapter compatible with NEMA 14-50. Charging fees apply.

Before booking, please note the following:
1. House Rules: No pets, parties, events, smoking, fires, fireworks, drone flying, ATVs, cooking of fish, shellfish or strong-odor foods indoors. Quiet time from 10:00 PM.
2. Age Restrictions: For safety and other reasons, all accompanying children must be at least 8 years old.
3. Villa Sharing: A 3-bedroom Villa may be shared by a family of upto six guests or two couples, but sharing by more than 4 adults requires manager approval. Extra fees apply for 5th and 6th guest in all cases.
4. Guest Safety: Use of the nature trail and beach requires guests to sign a waiver.
5. Cancellation Policy: Full refund less a $25 admin fee for cancellations made 30+ days before check-in and 50% refund for cancellations made 14–29 days before check-in.
